BACK TO CURRENT PORTFOLIO

Welcome to the Reflection Page of my portfolio.

This is where I will be dicussing my successes and failures. I also have two artifacts that represent those successes and failures.

Everyone has successes and failures, especially me. One of those heavy success/fail years was my 7th grade at the Dayton Regional STEM School. I think that I have grown the most in communication.

My first artifact is my first attempt on Chapter 9, Lesson 1 Quiz, on CompuScholar. I got 0/5 points. Zip, zilch, nothing. No points. I persisted, and 5 failed tries later, I realized I needed help. So, I reached out to my teacher, Mrs. Kovar, and figured out what I got wrong, and what I needed to study for next time. So, next time I took the quiz, I got everything right. I would have not gotten those things right if I hadn’t reached out to the teacher.

My second artifact is my Roman Newspaper. During the research days of the project, me and my partner, Ronald Johnson II had to communicate to find out what to research, and when to get things done. I would not have been able to code my Newspaper page if Ronald and I hadn’t been communicating with each other throughout the project.

Well, so what? Why does this matter? I can do it on my own. You might be saying these things. It matters very much to you, and to the person you communicate with. That person isn’t going to have to track you down later to get whatever last-minute information, because you already reached out to them. That’s why it matters, so you can all get your work done on time, and, you will get on that person’s good side.

I hope you enjoyed and thank you for reading.
